Swiss citizens living in Indonesia are advised to register with this Embassy. In order to do so, they may come in person to this Embassy on any working day between 09.00 and 12.00 and bring along their Swiss passport and Identity Card (if any) as well as the one of the members of their family.
If Swiss citizens cannot come to the Embassy, they can order the relevant forms at the following e-mail address:

Once they are registered, the following opportunities are open to them:
- with certain restrictions, membership of the voluntary old-age, survivors and disability insurance scheme for Swiss citizens living abroad (AHV/AVS)
- membership of the Solidarity Fund of the Swiss abroad
- the exercise of the right to vote in federal ballots

The Embassy should be notified without delay of any change of address either by fax, e-mail or mail, thus allowing it to contact you whenever there is any need to do so (e.g. in case of unrest) as well as in order to change your address for the mailing of the Swiss Review, for the right to vote and/or the membership address of the Federal Old Age Pension and Invalidity Insurance Scheme (AHV/IV) and the Solidarity fund:

As Swiss citizen living abroad you have the possiblity to join the Cooperative Society Solidarity Fund for Swiss National Abroad, short "Soliswiss".
